WelcomeThe Lundbeck Foundation is a commercial foundation established in 1954. Its main objective is to maintain and expand the activities of the Lundbeck Group, and to provide funding for scientific research of the highest quality. The commercial activities of the Foundation are carried out through the wholly-owned subsidiary LFI a/s - which holds a major interest in the share capital of H. Lundbeck A/S and ALK-Abelló A/S, respectively. Both companies are listed on the NASDAQ OMX COPENHAGEN. In 2008, the Foundation granted DKK 328 million, and expects in both 2009 and 2010 to grant the equivalent amount to research in biomedical and natural sciences. In 2007 and 2008, the Foundation has supported the establishment of research centres whose aim is to put the results of basic scientific research to use faster and more effectively for the benefit of patients.
