Joining the Lundbeckfonden BioCapital team is an exciting career change, Liane Dupont says:

‘I am extremely excited to join the dynamic new team at Lundbeckfonden BioCapital. After 9 years in the UK, I look forward to helping nourish Danish biotech by supporting the creation of innovative new companies. I am particularly passionate about ensuring that early scientific discoveries are translated into a real-life difference for patients.’

Liane Dupont brings strong academic research experience, particularly in the infectious disease space, and has published in numerous high-ranking journals such as Nature Microbiology and Cell Host & Microbe.

She holds a BSc in Molecular Biomedicine from University of Copenhagen and received her PhD from University of Cambridge, where she was awarded the Milo Keynes Prize for Outstanding Dissertation for her PhD thesis on HIV restriction.

‘Liane is exceptionally talented. She has conducted remarkable and prize-winning research at top universities in England, and now – with her new role as associate at Lundbeckfonden – she is ready to take on new challenges helping biotech companies reach their potential in Denmark and internationally. We are delighted to have her onboard our team,’ says Managing partner, Christian Elling, Lundbeckfonden BioCapital.
